Red Cup and Red Wrap

It is officially "Red Cup" season and just in time for the weather to completely cool down. It has been downright cold in San Diego for the past few days and I LOVE it!! We spent some time cleaning up the house and getting things in order on Monday. Yesterday I spent the day with my sweet mother-in-law shopping and learning how to cook one of the delicious dishes she makes. My husband is Armenian, Middle-Eastern and the cultural dishes his mom cooks are amazing! I have made it my mission to learn each and every one of them. The particular meal we were making had meatballs in a thin red sauce with peas and carrots, all served over rice, and it is one of my favorites! Maybe with her permission, I will be able to share a few of them on the blog soon.

I don't even know where to start with this outfit... No seriously, I have typed and re-typed my first sentence about eight times. These booties are AMAZING!! I ordered 5 different pairs of black booties that I was positive I would like. Nope, I hated them all. These were my last shot on the bootie front and when they finally came I was ecstatic. They are unbelievably comfortable for the height and they have a nice soft liner. I have found with some booties they hit a tender spot near the ankle and basically start bruising you from the start. Not these! They are perfect. This wrap is also AMAZING. I cannot even tell you how excited I was when I received it. The color and weight are perfect and I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to constantly adjust it to wear correctly. I have it paired here with my go-to knit dress but as it gets even cooler I will definitely pair it with a long sleeve tee and jeans.

I hope you are having a lovely day! Thanks for stopping by!
