Our Weekend

On Friday, along with my mom and Brucy, we had an awesome dinner Vintana in Escondido and then went to Carols by Candlelight, a community concert that benefits Rady Children's Hospital. It was such a beautiful concert of quite a few country artists that were rounded out by Lonestar. Lonestar is one of my all time favorite country bands and to see them in such an intimate setting of only 1,000 people was pretty darn touching. In the mortal words of my cute cousin, "it hits ya right in the feels". The grand finale was singing silent night in the courtyard with all of the artists by candlelight, and if that doesn't put you in the Christmas spirit then I don't know what will. This event has been going on for 26 years and I don't want to miss it ever again.

You guys!! How amazing are the huge cuffed sleeves on this dress!?! I wore this outfit yesterday for our sweet little nephew's 2nd birthday. We had such a nice time with the family and running around with the kids for hours on end pretty much demands flat shoes, so this was the perfect way to dress up my favorite chocolate riding boots. The material this dress is made of is such high quality and so comfortable. I love that it is fitted across the chest and top of the arms and then flares into the perfect little shift towards the bottom. I paired my boots with some super soft boot socks I think it really tied this outfit together.

I hope you have an awesome week and good luck with all of the holiday preparations that you may have going on!

  1. Looking good, girl! And what a great location for photos!

    1. Thank you Jean Claire! You're so sweet! The location is a park in Poway, CA, near our home. Tons of people take family pictures at this location.
