Thinking Outside the Schedule Box

My mom is really popular. Ok, I guess that's not what you should call it, but her and Brucy are super busy and so are Tony and I (I mean everyone is right?). So, sometimes working our schedules around each other is a little crazy. We make sure to see each other once a week at the very least but that can get hard. For instance, we have our church small group on Monday nights, they have their's on Thursday's and Tony works a later shift on Friday's and Saturday's. Sunday's can get a little crazy because it is more like our Saturday in this household plus church. So basically, that leaves Tuesday and Wednesday and understandable that has become my mental box of time that we have to spend with them. Neither of those days worked for us this week so my sweet husband thought outside the box and had the brilliant idea to do brunch on Saturday before he heads into work. I mean, who hates mimosas and breakfast food!?! Not this gal! My point in all of this is that we are still learning to work our schedule for the maximum that it's worth, but I am really excited that we had a realization about another pocket of time. It may have taken us a while but it's progress.

Everyone needs a little black romper in their closet. It's the perfect way to switch date night up rather than wearing that little black dress again. It is especially great for late winter/early spring because you can throw a coat on over it and be totally warm while you walk from the car to whatever fancy restaurant you may be headed to. Apparently, everyone had to have this particular one because it is currently sold out. I've linked a few other awesome options. I will keep an eye out and link it if it gets restocked. Regardless of a little black dress or romper, a little black anything is the perfect excuse to wear a colorful pair of heels. I debuted these babies on the blog a week or so ago on this post and I have been looking for excuses to wear them ever since. You can't really see in these pictures, but they have big gold clasps on them so I decided to pair this ensemble with gold bangles and some gold and black earrings.

I hope your day is as beautiful as you are!
