Currently Burning

So, I thought I would switch things up a bit today and do a lifestyle focused post. If you know me, then you know that candles are one of my favorite aspects of making a house a home. I think it is important for your house to smell inviting and comforting. Over the years, I have burned MANY different types of candles and Bath and Body Works candles are hands-down the best value and scent! Now, don't be fooled. The price tag on these babies is $22.50, but as long as I am patient and wait for the right coupon to roll into my email I can end with them for about $8.50 a pop. I mean that's pretty impressive if you ask me. Anyways, I thought I would give you the run-down on what I am currently burning and why.

This is such a fresh tropical scent! It is perfect for getting people in a happy mood right as they walk through the door. It is a great reminder that spring has officially sprung! I am currently burning this scent in my living room, dining room and kitchen. As you see more of these posts throughout the year you will notice that I try to always get a candle that is yellow for these areas as it is my accent color.  If I can't find a yellow scent that I like, I will settle for aqua or white, but I am always pretty darn matchy-matchy.

This is the current scent that I am burning in our bedroom. It smells like a clean tropical paradise with an added spritz of cologne. It is a perfect scent for the bedroom if your man isn't so into florals. Again, a fresh reminder that spring is here and the sun is shining. I am not super particular in our master bedroom on color. For this area scent is much more important.

I am currently burning this scent in my guest bath. In spring and summer, I typically opt for a scent with citrus notes for the bathrooms. To me, citrus smells clean, and I think we can all agree that a guest bath smelling clean should be a top priority. I usually opt for a white or teal candle in the guest bath to match my colors. After all, it's for guests so it should definitely match ;)

I hope you liked this little switch up today. Let me know if you enjoyed this post. I would potentially like to do one once a season.

I hope your day is as beautiful as you are!
